I found your blog today through His Kingdom Come site and hopped over here to see what For Those Who Weep was about and wowly discovered ‘death’. Although it is not like it happens every second just not to us personally. So, sorry to hear about your brother, death leaves us with so many unanswered questions and an empty place in our lives. I lost my husband unexpectedly almost five years ago, we were married straight out of high school, so almost forty years of oneness. No words to describe pain, I lost my home of thrity years, 90% of my belongings I sold for food and living expense because his life insurance was cancelled two month prior due to medication. Then, my Mother, my phone pal developed a fast Alzheimers and so I moved in with her and took care of her and thank God she only spent 22 days in a nursing facility. I have moved 4 times in almost five years, now I have to move again due to someone not honoring my Mothers wishes. So, I have learned that I have been allowed to spend some time in captivity and just now see the Light breaking through. I was deeply involved in ministry and serving the Lord. May God bless the ministry you are serving under.
Kim, I was deeply touched in reading your comment here. You have endured much suffering. Nothing changes a person like these hard, hard things. I am so very sorry for your loss. I have several friends who have lost spouses suddenly and it is a pain that is soooo…unique and agonizing. I hope and pray that you will experience the deep peace of Christ as the light breaks through all the darkness. It means a lot to me that you would take some time to view my blog and write.
